Description
Galvanized split-ring hanger for 4" Schedule 40 PVC radon vent pipe. Sized to fit standard 4" Sch 40 (~4.5" OD). Threaded boss accepts ½" threaded rod for ceiling, joist, or wall-plate mounting.
What it's for
Hangs vertical or horizontal runs of radon vent pipe between the fan and roof exit. Required by CGSB 149.12 for proper bracing of active soil depressurization systems — the fan generates vibration that needs to be supported and damped along the pipe run.
