When you encapsulate a crawlspace, the barrier has to terminate cleanly against the foundation foam — and ordinary roofing nails or staples tear through the Stego or pop out under thermal cycling. Plastic Christmas-tree fasteners solve that. Push them through the barrier into the foam, the barbs lock in place, and they don't pull through. Tool-free, fast, and the heads are wide enough to spread the load so the Stego doesn't tear.

Installation

1. Pre-drill 7.5 mm holes through the Stego barrier and into the foam wall at your mounting spacing (typically every 12–18")
2. Push the fastener through the barrier into the foam until the head sits flat
3. Apply RadonAway Pro Sealant or Stego Mastic around the head for an airtight seal
4. Trim Stego barrier excess after fastening is complete
