Every active soil depressurization system has at least one slab penetration you might need to reach later — a sub-slab cleanout, an ASD test port drilled for pressure-field verification, or an inspection opening you drilled before pouring the suction-point seal. The Watts SpringFit APU-8 is the 8x8" snap-in cover that lets you patch the hole cleanly the first time and re-access it without drywall work later.

Why mitigators use it

• No cutting required — SpringFit clips grip the hole edge from inside; the panel snaps into any rough cutout from 5" × 6" up to 8" × 8"
