4" Split Ring Pipe Hanger Installation Kit — with Rod & Wall Plate

Complete hanger assembly for 4" Schedule 40 PVC radon vent pipe. Includes the galvanized split-ring hanger, a ½" threaded rod, two nuts, and a wall/joist mounting plate — everything you need to suspend a section of vent pipe from a stud, joist, or wall.

• 1 × Galvanized split-ring hanger (fits 4" Sch 40 PVC)
• 1 × ½" threaded rod (length per variant: 12" or 20")
• 1 × Galvanized wall/joist mounting plate with mounting holes
• 2 × ½"-13 UNC hex nuts

Choosing your rod length

• 12": Tight stud-bay or low-clearance applications
• 20": Standard joist-bay hang — the most common residential install

Need a longer drop? The rod is ½"-13 UNC standard — the included rod can be cut down to your exact length on-site with a hacksaw or angle grinder.

Why this kit vs. plumber's tape

Plumber's strap doesn't support the vibration of an active radon fan over a 20+ year service life. A rigid split-ring hanger on threaded rod keeps the vent pipe braced, plumb, and silent. Required for code-compliant installations per CGSB 149.12.
