3" threaded vent flange for sump and sewage basin covers

The Jackel PVT300 is the 3" threaded vent flange that mounts to a sump or sewage basin cover and accepts threaded vent pipe. It is moulded from ABS and ships complete with its O-ring and stainless steel bolts and washers, so it goes on as a finished assembly rather than a bare flange you have to find hardware for.

This is the same 3" vent flange fitted to the Jackel Radon/Sump Dome (SMR16101-CV) lid. Buy it here as a replacement, as a spare for the truck, or to add a vent port to another Jackel cover.

Specifications

Running 4" radon pipe?

Most Canadian radon systems are piped in 4" Schedule 40. A 3" threaded port will not take 4" pipe directly. The Jackel Sump Dome 4" Pipe Adapter Kit bridges that gap with a 3" MPT adapter, a flexible reducing coupling and stainless steel clamps, and it keeps the connection serviceable.

Where this fits in a radon system

When the sump pit is used as the suction point for an active sub-slab depressurization system, the vent port is where the riser leaves the sealed pit. A threaded flange with an O-ring gives you a joint that seals under fan suction and can still be taken apart when the pump needs service.

Sealing the pit is one part of the job, not the whole of it. Active sub-slab depressurization is the method that lowers radon levels, measured against Health Canada's guideline of 200 Bq/m³ (5.4 pCi/L).

Common questions

What is in the box?
The flange body, its O-ring, and the stainless steel bolts and washers to mount it. Jackel supplies it as a complete assembly.

Will it fit my cover?
It is designed for Jackel sump and sewage basin covers. If you are fitting it to a cover from another manufacturer, check the bolt spacing and port opening before you order.

Do you have the 2" version?
The 2" equivalent is the Jackel PVT200. It is not stocked at the moment. Get in touch and we will let you know when it lands.

Threaded or slip?
This one is threaded. Jackel also makes slip-connection E-Flanges and discharge flanges for basin covers if a glued joint suits your install better.

Do you ship within Canada?
