Description
Description
RadonAway Easy Read U-Tube Manometer – 0–6.5" (Blue)
The high-range system performance indicator for high-suction radon mitigation systems.
The RadonAway 6.5" Easy Read U-Tube Manometer gives a clear, at-a-glance confirmation that a radon mitigation system is operating properly. It uses the same trusted U-tube design as the industry-standard monitor, with an extended 0–6.5" water column range for systems that generate higher vacuum. It is packaged as part of a System Monitoring and Homeowner Information packet that complies with current radon mitigation standards.
Required by Canadian radon mitigation standards — every active sub-slab depressurization system must include a visible system performance indicator. This manometer meets that requirement.
This device does NOT measure radon levels. It measures vacuum pressure in the radon pipe, confirming your fan is pulling air from beneath the slab.
Application
Designed for high-suction radon fans that can exceed 4.5" of vacuum, including all RadonAway GX-series fans (GX3, GX4, GX5, GX5A). For standard-suction fans such as the RP140, RP145, RP265, and EC6, use the 0–4.5" model (P/N 50017) instead.
Features
- 0–6.5" water column (WC) range — sized for high-suction radon fan systems
- Non-toxic blue indicator fluid — easy to read from across a room
- Adjustable zero reference for accurate levelling
- Curved molded scale fits directly onto round PVC radon pipe — no brackets or adapters needed
- Complete labelling and documentation kit included — meets current AARST OM&M requirements
- Made in the USA with U.S. and imported parts

Important: Choose the Right Range
This manometer reads 0–6.5" WC and is intended for high-suction systems. If your fan operates at or below 4.5" of vacuum — which covers the RP140, RP145, RP265, and EC6 — the 0–4.5" Easy Read U-Tube Manometer (P/N 50017) is the right choice.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a manometer required on every radon system in Canada?
Yes. Canadian radon mitigation standards require every active sub-slab depressurization system to have a visible system performance indicator.
Which fans is the 0–6.5" model for?
Use it on high-suction fans that can exceed 4.5" WC, including all RadonAway GX-series fans (GX3, GX4, GX5, GX5A). For standard-suction fans like the RP140, RP145, RP265, and EC6, the 0–4.5" model (P/N 50017) is sufficient.
Where should I install it?
Mount it on the radon pipe in a readily visible indoor location, below the fan. It must be readable by the homeowner without tools.
Does this measure radon levels?
No. It measures vacuum pressure in the pipe, not radon concentration. To measure actual radon levels you need a radon detector or test kit.
