GSR Galvanized Radon Suction Cage (Hot-Dipped, NBC Compliant)

Commercial-grade galvanized radon suction cage for sub-slab depressurization systems. Built in Calgary by Global Seismic Repairs (GSR) and manufactured to National Building Code, Alberta Edition (NBC-AE) 2019/2023 and EPA/625/R-92/016 standards.

Choosing your size

• Small — 300 × 300 × 100 mm effective area (overall 381 × 381 × 152 mm). Single suction pit, residential. Fits 4" (100 mm) PVC pipe.
• Medium — 457 × 457 × 216 mm effective area (overall 533 × 533 × 292 mm). Larger residential or light commercial. Fits 4" or 6" (100/150 mm) PVC pipe.
• Large — 914 × 939 × 355 mm overall. Commercial-grade for building footprints up to 9,290 m² (100,000 sq ft) where multiple suction pits are designed. Fits 4" or 6" PVC pipe.

Construction

• Hot-dipped galvanized after assembly — full corrosion protection on every weld, joint, and edge
• #13 (½") flattened expanded metal mesh on sides
• Top plate: 12-gauge steel (Small/Medium) or 18-gauge 636-clad corrugated decking (Large)
• Welded 2" × 2" × .125" steel angle-iron main frame (Large)
• No bottom panel — sits directly on deck, gravel, or grade
