Description
Description
4" PVC Ball Valve for Multi-Point Radon Systems, Socket x Socket
Fine-tune the airflow between suction points in a multi-point radon system, more precisely than a damper allows.
This 4" PVC ball valve lets you set how much air each leg of the system draws. Turn the lever anywhere from full open to full closed, and make small adjustments until every suction point is getting what it needs.
Radon mitigation professionals use valves like this to balance tricky multi-point systems. The socket ends glue straight onto 4" PVC pipe.

Common questions
Why a ball valve instead of a damper?
A ball valve gives you finer control over how much air each leg draws, so you can dial in the balance rather than settle for close enough.
Which leg does the valve go on?
On a leg that draws more than it needs. Partly closing it lets the fan pull harder on the suction point that needs it.
Will it fit 3" pipe?
No, this valve is for 4" PVC pipe. The 3" version fits 3" PVC pipe.
